About

The Eastern German Shorthaired Pointer Club (EGSPC) is the second oldest club in history for the German Shorthair, established in 1940. It is the only Sporting Breed Specialty Club to have been granted status as an AKC member club. For over 75 years, the EGSPC has been promoting the natural and versatile qualities of the GSP through Specialty Shows, Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and many other Performance Events. Please contact us if you would like information on the breed or if you would like to become a member and be involved in one of the oldest and best GSP clubs in the United States.
